Instead of a traditional end of year Christmas dinner, we kicked off the year with a shared team event and quickly realized that team building works just as well with flour on your hands and Appenzeller Biber in the oven.
Our journey took us to the picturesque region of Appenzell. At the Bärli Biber Manufactory run by the Bischofberger family, we had the opportunity to bake Appenzeller Biber ourselves. The result was plenty of laughter, a few very individual creations, and above all a great deal of fun.
We then explored Appenzell during a culinary city tour that was not only excellently guided but also led us through the village with charm, knowledge, and humor. Each course of the evening meal took place in a different restaurant.
We began with an apéritif at the Drehscheibe on Adlerplatz, a work of art by Appenzell artist Roman Signer. It was an opening as special as the evening itself.
An all around successful start to the year, marked by great conversations, lots of laughter, and a team that works in perfect harmony even outside the office.
